Green Card Applications: Countdown Begins, But Is the Date Different This Year?

Millions of people hoping to live and work in the United States are once again asking the same question: When will Green Card applications open?

The Diversity Visa Program, commonly known as the Green Card lottery, attracts huge global attention every year. However, one important detail has not changed yet: an official opening date for the DV-2027 Green Card application period has not been announced.

According to official U.S. sources, the registration period is expected to be announced later. This means that any claims giving an exact date should be treated with caution until a formal announcement is made by the U.S. Department of State.
