Recently in the spotlight for its investments in Artificial Intelligence, Turkey is making headlines with the establishment of its first integrated humanoid robot factory in Istanbul by DOF Robotics, following the projects "Kumru" and "Bilge".
With the development of artificial intelligence, robotic systems are becoming increasingly widespread. DOF Robotics, which operates in the fields of robotic systems, AI-powered autonomous solutions, and entertainment technologies, has announced a major investment that could mark a turning point in Türkiye's industrial and technological history. Located in Arnavutköy, Istanbul, the "DOF TECH" factory will be Türkiye's first integrated service and humanoid robot production facility. This investment is reportedly worth $25 million.

DOF Robotics is known for over 500 projects worldwide since 2006. These activities have attracted attention with flying theaters, tunnels, panoramic theaters, dome theaters, XD and 4D theaters, VR and AR-based attractions, interactive simulations, interactive games, and various simulations.
The DOF TECH factory to be established will be more than just a standard assembly line. According to the statements, all sensitive operational processes such as R&D activities, software development, artificial intelligence algorithms, automation systems, machining, welding, painting, assembly, electrical automation, software integration, and Factory Acceptance Tests will be managed from a single center.

The fact that this company, which has attracted attention with more than 500 projects since 2006, has such a wide range of services in its factory can probably be understood from the awards it has received. They have already received an international award from an Italian magazine in 2012, the "First Place" award at the IAAPA EXPO in Orlando in 2016, the best attraction exporter award in 2019, the "Hurricane 360VR" award in Las Vegas in the same year, and another IAAPA award in 2022. According to information from their website, they have received a total of 17 awards to date, the oldest being in 2012 and the newest in 2025.
DOF Robotics Chairman Mustafa Mertcan emphasized that they aim to transform the R&D experience they have accumulated over the years into value-added production on their own soil with the labor of Turkish engineers. According to Mertcan's statements, "the development and prototype production phases of humanoid robot projects will begin directly in this new facility."
